open house marathon: March 2024

Department of Mathematics Open House for potential graduate students is an online only event, aimed to help the prospects to decide, but also to help the faculty to know better some of the applicants, to advice them and to advocate for them. The schedule below will be updated, so please keep checking it for the updates.

Overview of the Program
  • Profs. Yuliy Baryshnikov, Karen Mortensen, March 4, 4pm (recording here), March 5, 9:30 am, at this zoom.
    The goal of this meeting is to explain the main events and waypoints on the way to graduation, and the key frameworks, such as funding, finding an advisor and so on.
    Both events will be of approximately the same content (we do two of them to accommodate applicants from different time zones).
